About The Event
TBOS has partnered with MacKillop Family Services and OzChild who both work closely with orphans and foster children.
We are calling all 3rd year students or graduates (and those for searching placement) in SPEECH PATHOLOGY who could dedicate 12 months (once a week or once fortnight) to teach one on one with our orphans of Melbourne.
We are also calling all students who have had experiencing in tutoring and students studying in any year of EDUCATION who could dedicate 12 months (once a week or once fortnight) to teach one on one with our orphans of Melbourne.
NOTE: Not required to tutor and mentor during Semester breaks.
This is a great opportunity for you as students or recent graduates, to not only gain experience in your industry, but give a child hope for their future. You will most likely become their friend, mentor and older sibling.
This event will be an INFORMATION EVENT. There are only 10 positions (for now) available for those studying EDUCATION and 5 for those studying SPEECH PATHOLOGY. If this interest you please register & attend. This is a great opportunity to build your own career path and expose yourself to practicing in your field.
